The CPR Framework:

Create, Play Rest.

How connected are you to your pleasure?

You know when you're tired. You know when you're stressed. You probably know when you're overdue for a vacation.

But how often do you check in with your pleasure?

The CPR Assessment is a free self-assessment designed to help you explore how connected you currently are to your body, your pleasure and your desires—and where you might want to pay a little more attention.

What is CPR?

CPR stands for Creativity, Play & Rest—three practices I use to help people reconnect with themselves and make pleasure a more intentional part of everyday life.

This assessment looks beyond sex.

It asks about your relationship with your body, your capacity to experience pleasure, your ability to recognize and express desire, and whether you have enough space in your life to explore what feels good.

There are no right answers.

There is no perfect score.

This is simply an opportunity to notice where you are now.

What you'll discover:

Your results will help you reflect on:

  • Your connection to your body

How easily do you notice your body's signals, preferences, comfort, tension and pleasure?

  • Your relationship with pleasure

How much room does pleasure currently have in your life—and how comfortable are you receiving it without having to earn it first?

  • Your relationship with desire

How easily can you recognize what you want, communicate it and make choices that honor it?

  • Your CPR practice

How much access do you currently have to Creativity, Play and Rest—and which of those practices might help you reconnect with yourself?

Ready to check in with your Pleasure?

You don't need to change anything before you take this assessment. Just answer based on what's true right now.

Your responses are private and will be used to provide your results and recommendations.

CPR: A Pleasure Assessment

Think about your life as it is right now, not how you think it should be.

For each statement, choose the response that feels most true.

There are no right or wrong answers.

Your CPR Results Are In

This isn't a grade, and there's no perfect score.

Your results are a snapshot of how connected you feel right now to your body, your pleasure and your desires—and how much access you currently have to Creativity, Play and Rest.

Some areas may already feel well-supported. Others may be asking for more attention.

Take a look:

Your Body Connection Score Range: 4-9

Your responses suggest that your body's signals may be easy to miss, override or notice only once they've become difficult to ignore. For now, don't worry about becoming “more embodied.” Start smaller: practice noticing. Your practice: Once a day, pause for 60 seconds and ask: What sensations can I notice in my body right now? Don't interpret or change them. Just notice.

Your Body Connection Score Range: 10-15

You're already noticing some of what your body communicates, but that connection may become harder to access when you're busy, stressed or focused on other people's needs. Your practice: Choose one transition in your day—waking up, getting home, getting into bed—and use it as a consistent body check-in.

Your Body Connection Score Range: 16-20

You appear to have a strong awareness of your body's signals and a willingness to listen to them. Your practice: Pay attention to what happens after you notice. Where are you honoring what your body tells you, and where might you still override it?

Your Pleasure Connection Score Range: 4-9

Pleasure may currently have limited space in your everyday life, or it may be something you postpone until everything else is handled. Your practice: Notice one pleasurable sensation every day and allow yourself to stay with it for 30 seconds longer than you normally would.

Your Pleasure Connection Score Range: 10-15

You have access to pleasure, but it may be inconsistent or easier to prioritize under certain circumstances than others. Your practice: Make a list of ten small things that reliably feel good and require less than 15 minutes. Use it when pleasure starts feeling like another thing you have to plan.

Your Pleasure Connection Score Range: 16-20

Pleasure already has meaningful space in your life. Your practice: Instead of simply asking What feels good?, begin noticing What kinds of pleasure am I craving more of?

Your Desire Connection Score Range: 4-9

Knowing what you want may feel difficult, complicated or surprisingly unfamiliar right now. Your practice: Once a day ask yourself, What do I want right now? Start with small things—what you want to eat, hear, wear, do or not do. You don't have to act on the answer.

Your Desire Connection Score Range: 10-15

You can identify many of your desires, but expressing or prioritizing them may be more complicated. Your practice: Notice the gap between knowing what you want and doing something with that information. That's useful data.

Your Desire Connection Score Range: 16-20

You appear to have meaningful access to your wants, preferences and boundaries. Your practice: Look beyond the desires you already know. Ask yourself, What am I curious about now?
